PM Netanyahu Says “World’s Commitment is Hollow”

Greetings from the Holy City.

Some 120 nations from around the world sent representatives to a major conference in Tehran this week, legitimizing the murderous Islamic regime by their presence. Among their number was the Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, the newly elected president of Egypt and Muslim Brotherhood member Mohammed Morsi, and the head of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas.

My old friend Prime Minister Netanyahu clearly pointed out the hypocrisy in an interview this week. He said, “Six million of my people were exterminated in an act of genocide. The world pledged ‘never again’; it passed treaties against genocide; it formed the United Nations; it made a commitment that this thing will never be repeated. Today, over 120 countries are in Tehran, saluting a regime that not only denies the Holocaust, but pledges to annihilate the Jewish state.”

The world may be able to pretend that Iran is just another nation with normal ambitions, but Israel cannot afford to make that mistake. I am here in the Jewish state as your ambassador, meeting with leaders and working to do everything we can to encourage and uplift and help a nation on the brink of war. They urgently need us right now—and we cannot afford to ignore the pleas for help of God’s Chosen People.

Barukh atah Adonai eloheinu melekh ha-olam, ozier Yisrael bigvurah.

Blessed art thou, Lord our God, King of the universe, who girds Israel with might.

The March of Remembrance

Yesterday over 400 people began a 1,300 mile walk of reconciliation across Poland, hoping to heal wounds that are now 70 years old.  Descendents of perpetrators of the Holocaust are walking side by side with descendents of survivors of the Nazi death camps in Poland.  The March of Remembrance has brought together participants from Poland, Germany, Israel, and the US.  Fifty of the German contingency are direct descendents of members of Wehrmacht, police, or the SS who were directly involved in gathering and killing six million Jews.

The group gathered at the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp and will follow a route that will take them through Treblinka, Kielce, Warsaw, Sobibor, Chelmno, Majdanek, and Belzec.  They will stop at each site for a memorial service, with the main service in Warsaw on Thursday, August 23^rd.

The keynote speaker at the Warsaw memorial will be the Deputy Speaker of the Israeli Knesset, Lia Shemtov.  She became involved with the idea while helping to host a convention honoring evangelical Christians and organizations that have provided aid to Jews who went through the Holocaust.  The idea for the event was roundly accepted, promoted, and brought to fruition this summer.

Ms. Shemtov told reporters that “These are incredible teenagers who discovered their tragic connection with the Jewish people and decided to follow the truth while seeking forgiveness.”

In her address at Warsaw she is expected to say that, “Sadly, the memory of the acts of the Holocaust haunts you even now when you, the next generation are exposed to the rising anti-Semitism in Europe, radical Islam's burning hatred and you, young men and women, who are the same age as 1.5 million children who were slaughtered in the Holocaust say 'no more!’”

Members of the German delegation have said that they want to use the occasion as a way to “find the words that their fathers and grandfathers never found,” and to “listen to the voices of the voices of the victims and their descendents” in the places where their ancestors wrought death and destruction.  They see it as an opportunity to honor those whose lives were lost and those who survived the nightmarish atrocities.

Of the six million Polish citizens who were murdered during the war, half of them were not of Jewish descent.  Poland became a land of “unspeakable suffering” during the war.  While some would deny that the Holocaust ever happened, and many would rather just forget that it happened, these young people are gathered to ask forgiveness for it happening and to remember those to whom it happened.

The March of Remembrance key Bible verse is Isaiah 62:1, “For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch.”  May we add, appropriately, II Corinthians 5:19, “God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them."  And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.”  There is nothing uglier than sin and strife.  There is nothing more beautiful than reconciliation.

The Jerusalem Prayer Team World Headquarters

Over the years, I’ve been asked the same question repeatedly: Who inspired you to do what you do? Why have you gone to 41 war zones and worked as an ambassador for 40 years to Jerusalem?

The most obvious answer to that question: The Lord, who appeared to me at the age of eleven after I had been strangled and left for dead by my own father. There are also four more people who have inspired me. They are my darling wife, Carolyn, who was the first person on earth ever to believe in me and still does. (She says my life is the greatest evidence of Christ that she knows.) Following her are Corrie ten Boom, Prime Minister Menachem Begin, and YOU, my partner. (You are part of my FAMILY!)

In 1988 I purchased and restored the home and clock shop that had belonged to Corrie ten Boom’s family with the help of my ministry partners. It has been open since that time at no cost to the visitor. No one in the organization has ever received a penny in compensation for their assistance with the work. I’ve even paid my own expenses—hotels and flights to Ha’arlem, Holland. It’s the least I can do, since the ten Boom family saved 800 Jewish lives and sacrificed their own to do it.

It was this inspiration that gave me the vision of creating a museum in Jerusalem. I wanted to tell the story of Corrie’s family, which is virtually unknown to the Jewish people in Israel. Then I realized there were hundreds of other amazing stories that also needed to be told.

I have dedicated my life to telling the story and to encouraging the people of Israel. I recently spearheaded the establishment of the Mike Evans Museum in Jerusalem, officially called the Friends of Zion Heritage Center.  The Museum is yet another way of communicating that story that so many so-called Christians have tarnished, so much so that the Jewish people – God’s chosen – have been unable to comprehend.

The Friends of Zion Heritage Center is unique, simply based on the use of 21st century technologies that make it a museum of experience that takes visitors well beyond the ordinary and expected. It is a place where this love story is unfolded for all to acknowledge and receive. Not a typical museum, it highlights among other things: cutting-edge technology, Heroes of Israel, Righteous Gentiles.

The Protocols of the Elders of Zion Exposed

The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is a lie that wouldn't die; believed to be true by Henry Ford, Adolf Hitler, Osama bin Laden, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and Muammar Gaddafi. The Protocols of the Elders of Zion accuse the Jews of using their supposed fantastic wealth to bankroll a nefarious conspiracy to subjugate and rule the world — formenting revolutions and wars; and using the media, fraternal organizations, and governments as tools in their vast Jewish conspiracy network.

When The Protocols of the Elders of Zion reached Russia it birth the pogroms, violent mob attacks against the Jews. The book was used by Hitler Germany as primary justification for initiating the Holocaust that lead to the death of six million Jews in Europe. Now most Muslim leaders worldwide keep it within reach as the most revered book, after the Quran. Every terrorist organization and suicide bomber uses this prophecy as the primary reason to commit the acts they do. Articles 22 and 28 of the Hamas Covenant are lifted straight out from the book.

Despite having been repeatedly discredited as a historical document, and in spite of the fact that it served as an inspiration for Hitler’s antisemitism and the Holocaust, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion continue to be influential. It is perhaps the most notorious and widely distributed antisemitic publication of modern times. The individuals and groups who have used the book are all linked by a common purpose — to spread hatred of Jews. The book is entirely a work of fiction, intentionally written to blame Jews for a variety of ills.

The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is exposed as a "lie" in Dr. Michael D. Evans newest book "The Protocols". It is a fiction but with a truth that's too close to home. It tells of Esther Rosenberg’s desperate effort to unravel the plot to finish what Lenin and Hitler started and do what Islamic extremists only dream of doing — exterminate the Jews and their American sympathizers. Can she do it? Or will the prophecy of the Protocols come true?
