Award-winning American journalist Dr. Michael D. Evans, is a leading expert on the Middle East. He wrote the book Game Changer. On a visit to Israel’s Knesset a few months ago, Dr. Michael D. Evans told Israel National News TV’s Hezki Ezra that he wrote Game Changer after President Barack Obama said that nuclear weapons in the hands of terrorists would be a “game changer.”
He explained that the book is a fictional story that revolves around Iran smuggling nuclear weapons into the United States using proxy organizations such as Hamas and Hizbullah, and then attacking major American cities using these weapons. Evans emphasized that Israel is not in the book and added that the Iranian threat which he describes in Game Changer, is something which is “highly probable” according to former CIA Director James Woolsey.

Is Matthew Knocking At the Door?
As I write you from my prayer room, I am deeply burdened. Events in Asia and in the Middle East are Matthew 24 knocking at the door.
I am referring to the prophecies of Jesus in that chapter. He prophesied almost 40 years before it happened that the Temple would be taken apart stone by stone and mass deception would overtake the world just before His return. Great leaders would deceive the people claiming to be followers of Christ. He prophesied that kingdoms would rise up against kingdoms. The only kingdoms left worldwide are the kingdoms in the Middle East.
Jesus also predicted famines, pestilence, and earthquakes in various places. When His disciples asked when He would return, He admonished them not to be troubled. In John 14:27, Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
Our assignment is to live our lives in the light of eternity and touch things beyond the grave. What we do can then have eternal significance and echo throughout eternity. The good news is that these are signs Jesus is coming soon. These are signs of His return.
II Thessalonians 2:1 says it precisely: "Now we beseech you brethren by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto him."
The word "coming" in the Greek is parousia or presence. It means "presence of the Lord." Yes, it is the strong presence you felt when you were gloriously saved. It is the presence you feel when you pray and worship Him. But, the presence you will feel when He appears will be thousands of times greater. The Greek word for "gathering" is episynagogue. It means to "collect or quickly collect."
Here is the glorious revelation that God spoke into my heart this morning in prayer:
It's from Ephesians 1:13: "In whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise." Have you ever ordered a package through the mail and were disappointed because when it arrived, it was damaged? To make matters worse, it didn't arrive on the specified delivery date.
God is waiting for a special delivery package. When the Lamb of God was sacrificed on the cross, God didn't examine the man; He examined the Lamb and the blood that was shed for you and for me. When He did so, God put his seal of approval upon it and upon everyone who has been washed in the precious blood of the Lamb.
The word "seal" comes from the Greek sphragizo. Seals were used to guarantee that packages had not been opened by an unauthorized person. A seal would be placed upon a package to indicate it was complete. If there was a defect, a seal was not adhered to the package. The seal was proof that the product was impeccable. The seal bore the insignia of the person guaranteeing the package. It meant that the weight of that person's office was behind the package and was to be treated with the utmost care.
Hot wax was poured onto the string that bound the package, and then the sender's insignia was stamped into the wax leaving a visible and distinctive mark. The seal guaranteed the package had arrived unopened.
When the Bible says you have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, it means there is nothing incomplete or defective about you … because of the blood of the Lamb. He has placed His seal upon your heart. To be sealed with God's presence means you are "God approved." Your contents are intact and in order. You are not damaged goods. You've been inspected, approved, endorsed, and notarized by the Holy Spirit. You are the property of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The revelation in this is that the presence of the Lord will be manifested at His soon return. He will collect the Presence of the Lord within you. You are part of a glorious church, without spot or wrinkle, washed in the blood of the Lamb—not because of who you are, but because of who HE is. This is why He says, "When you see these things, lift up your head."
Rejoice, for your redemption draws nigh!
Beloved, when you see these things LOOK UP! "Lift up your head for your redemption draws nigh." (Luke 21:28) The prophecies of the Bible declare that "in the twinkling of an eye, we shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed."
Soon, and very soon, you will look into the eastern sky and witness the greatest event in the history of mankind. You will hear the shout of an archangel and a heavenly choir will offer praise to the returning King. The trumpet will sound, and the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Eternal Prince of Peace, will suddenly appear. Marble mausoleums will rip like tissue paper, and every grave on earth that holds the remains of the righteous will split open. Decaying bodies will be changed in the twinkling of an eye, and gravity will lose its hold as the resurrection saints will soar into the heavens to meet the Savior in the air. You, in your glorified body, will enter the Pearly Gates of Heaven to be welcomed by the cheers of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
You will see Moses who stretched forth his hand to divide the sea. You'll see John the Revelator who declared on Patmos that he saw the Lord in the midst of seven golden candlesticks. You will see your departed loved ones and friends who knew the Lord. Most importantly, you will see Jesus.

Suspected Nuclear Site Identified in Syria

The Institute for Science and International Security in Washington has published satellite photos that appear to confirm suspicions of a nuclear site in Syria. The Institute's report declared that Syria's nuclear weapons program was much more advanced than previously thought when Israel bombed it in 2007. Photos show the nuclear reactor to have been nearly operational at the time.
Inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) found traces of processed uranium at the site, although Syria's spokesmen continue to deny they had a nuclear program. The published photos also reveal efforts by Syria to conceal evidence following the attack. Ominously, Syria has denied repeated attempts by the IAEA to return to the site for follow-up inspections, and German intelligence reports there may be three new nuclear sites being developed at the al-Kibar site.
This news comes as two Iranian warships are docked in Syria—including a supply ship with undisclosed cargo. Iran and Syria share a radical Islamic worldview and a hatred of Israel, and it is certainly possible that they are sharing nuclear weapons technology as well.
Yet against this backdrop of uncertainty and threat, the United States government is continuing to pursue a policy of appeasement by working with world powers to create a Palestinian state at great cost to Israel. The plan is for the UN to unilaterally and officially proclaim a Palestinian State with East Jerusalem as its capital. This action will be taken not far from where Islamic terrorists flew fuel-laden airplanes into the World Trade Center Towers and killed 2,752 innocent men, women, and children almost exactly ten years after that dreadful attack.
The Jerusalem Prayer Team has launched the "Save Jerusalem" Campaign—a national media initiative to sound the alarm to alert Bible-believing Christians to the danger posed by this plan...and to urge them to speak out against it.

Iranian Navy Sends Ships To Suez Canal
In a rare move, Iran's navy is planning to send two warships through the Suez Canal into the Mediterranean Sea and then on to Syria. Israel is carefully monitoring the ships, currently sailing in the Red Sea as they prepare for their transit. An Israeli Naval official said, "It is strange for the Iranian Navy to use the Suez Canal since it really doesn't have anything to do in the Mediterranean Sea."
Israel's Foreign Minister, Avigdor Lieberman, called the move a "provocation that proves the overconfidence of the Iranians is growing from day to day." The move by Iran is just the latest in a series of escalations of threats posed by the radical Islamic regime against the Jewish state. Iran is also hosting an Islamic Unity Conference this weekend in Teheran for radical Islamic jihad organizations from around the Muslim world to unite them in their efforts against Israel.
At the same time, the United States has signaled that it will support a United Nations declaration condemning Israel. The declaration says the world body "does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlement activity." US backing for such a criticism of Israel is a striking departure from past support. In a move that will not surprise any careful observer of the situation in the Middle East, Arab leaders declared the American condemnation of Israel "unacceptable" because it doesn't go far enough!
A war is being fought today in the spirit realm even as I write—as ancient prophecy and modern-day conspiracy collide. You and I must realize this is a wake-up call from hell and take a stand. It is described in Isaiah 14:12-15: "For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north...'"

Halt The Evil Scheme To Curse Israel
Imagine the United Nations telling America to hand over half of Washington DC to Al Qaeda for use as their capital city. It's the most ridiculous thing in the world…and yet that is exactly what is about to happen to Israel. Half of its capital—the Holy City of Jerusalem—is to be stripped from Israeli control and placed in the hands of the Palestinian terrorists who have spent decades proving they are serious when they say they mean to kill all the Jews.
It's an outrage! But it's going to happen unless we take action right now. The only way that this worldwide plot against the Chosen People can be stopped is if America uses its veto at the UN Security Council to stop it…yet sadly President Obama and his Administration are actually supporting this effort to curse Israel in our name. We must speak out today and tell the President to stand with Israel!
According to the unfailing and unchanging promise of God, if America sides with this plan, we WILL be cursed. God said, "I will bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse thee." (Genesis 12:3) We have an opportunity at this prophetic moment to be a blessing to the children of Abraham by standing together in defense of Jerusalem.
This plan is designed as an appeasement for Arab rage. World leaders are hoping (foolishly and vainly) that establishing a Palestinian state will divert the attention and anger of radical Muslims. History proves over and over again that this approach will not work.
Concessions made to violent terrorists never satisfy them. The turmoil in the Middle East has nothing to do with Israel or Jerusalem. That is simply an excuse used by those who seek to place the entire world under Islamic control. Many world leaders are caving in to the pressure and threats from Muslim groups. Winston Churchill described appeasement as feeding your friends to a crocodile in hopes that he would eat you last, and far too many people who should know better are preparing to throw Israel to the crocodile.
But there is more to this than just a political strategy that is guaranteed to fail. Attacking the sovereignty and integrity of Israel is a direct attack on the prophetic Word of Almighty God. Every nation that participates in this plan will feel His hand of judgment.
The only way to stop this plan is to speak out. I'm asking you today to add your voice to ours and to sign the petition urging President Obama to halt this evil scheme to curse Israel. The United States has stood up for Israel in the past, and we have been blessed because of it. The key to America's survival is Israel.

The release of hundreds of thousands of pages of confidential US State Department documents this past week revealed a number of embarrassingly frank assessments of international leaders; it also revealed some surprising relationships between Middle Eastern nations, particularly between Saudi Arabia and Israel.
The release of hundreds of thousands of pages of confidential US State Department documents this past week revealed a number of embarrassingly frank assessments of international leaders; it also revealed some surprising relationships between Middle Eastern nations, particularly between Saudi Arabia and Israel.
Though Israel and Saudi Arabia have no official relationship the common threat posed by Iran, particularly with the nuclear weapons program nearing completion has made the two nations unlikely allies. King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia has been urging the United States to take strong action, even including military strikes against Iran, telling them to "cut off the head of the snake."
Though Israel is certainly a primary target of Iran's future weapons, the ancient hatred between the Sunni and Shiite branches of Islam make the Arab nations of the Gulf region vulnerable to attack. Iran has both territorial, religious and economic incentives to either wage war on the Gulf oil states—or at minimum use the threat of nuclear attack as a means of obtaining concessions from the other nations.
Analysts fear that a nuclear Iran would spark a multi-billion dollar nuclear arms race across the Middle East as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, Syria and other nations launched their own weapons programs to keep Iran from gaining a permanent advantage in the region. The destabilizing effect of adding nuclear states with such strong terrorist elements would impact the entire world.
Since neither the Bush nor Obama Administrations have taken any effective steps against Iran, King Abdullah has apparently offered to support Israel in taking military action. The Saudi king has reportedly told Israeli military officials through indirect diplomatic channels that the Arab nation will provide tactical help to facilitate an Israeli attack on Iran. Though Saudi Arabia joined much of the rest of the world in publicly condemning Israel's attack on Iraq's nuclear program in 1981, they privately supported the effort because of their fear of Saddam Hussein. Today it appears their fear of President Ahmadinejad and the mullahs of Teheran is leading to a similar conclusion.
Terrorist Rocket Injures Girl at Israeli Kindergarten in Ashkelon
A Grad rocket launched from Gaza struck close to an Israeli kindergarten yesterday morning just as the children were arriving for school. At least one young girl was injured in the terrorist attack.
Aviva Fold, an official with the Ashkelon schools said, "The children were arriving at school this morning, at quarter to eight, when the siren blared. There was a code-red warning, and everyone panicked and rushed for the safety of the bomb shelters."
It is more urgent than ever before that we step up our efforts to protect the men, women, and children of Israel from these attacks. The demonically-inspired terrorists who are lashing out at the Chosen People in their fury and rage will never rest as long as Israel endures. They will continue to do everything in their power to kill as many Jews as they can unless and until they are stopped. They have no desire for peace.
At the same time terrorists continue their evil attacks against innocent men, women, and children, President Obama is using our tax dollars to support his plan against Israel and for the Palestinians—the same terrorists who have launched more than 200 rockets and missiles against Israel this year. Mr. Obama and the State Department believe they can destroy the government of Prime Minister Netanyahu so that a liberal government will replace it and accept the deal to give up land promised to Israel forever by God to create a Palestinian state. If this tragic plan to curse Israel succeeds, every nation that supports it will be cursed by Almighty God.
