Sanctions Iran over IED's

Sanctions Iran over IED's - Mike Evans - Jerusalem Prayer Teamby: Mike Evans
Senior officials from the United States and five other major powers are meeting in Geneva on a new bid to reach an agreement with Iran on its nuclear program, despite opposition from Israel and conservative members of Congress.
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, made it clear in a speech in Tehran that Iran will not compromise on its nuclear policies: “We will not step back one iota from our rights.”
During the last set of talks, liberal France was the spoiler in objecting that the proposed deal did not curb enough of Iran’s enriched uranium. Khamenei countered that Iran would not consider giving up the ability to make nuclear fuel, and that they would stand up to what they call, “an untouchable, rabid dog—Israel.” Khamenei has also said that Iran’s relations with the West could never be “normal.” He said, “We must continue to disappoint our enemies.”
Why in heaven’s name should the United States obsess with providing sanction relief for Iran? It is a Fascist state and Ground Zero for world terror. It funds and fuels the revolution in Syria, the terrorist organization Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, the Mahdi Army in Iraq, and Shi’a extremists worldwide.
When was the last time you heard of a murderer appealing to the Supreme Court for more comforts in his prison cell? Perhaps the pillow is too hard and the food is inedible; the air conditioning is not sufficient, and the television is broken. Iran does not deserve sanction relief.
While on a state invitation to Kurdistan in 2007, I was told by President Barzani that the vast majority of Americans killed in Iraq were blown up by Iranian improvised explosive devices. In The Hague during the Afghanistan summit arranged by Hillary Clinton, I was told the same thing by Afghanistan diplomats who were working with President Mohammad Karzai.
More than 11,861 soldiers had been killed by IEDs in Iraq, most of them from Iran. Seventy percent of all casualties in the Iraq war were caused by IEDs. The same can be said of wounded US soldiers in Afghanistan. Just last month, four soldiers were killed in Kabul, southern Afghanistan, by IEDs. Some 2,146 US troops have died in Afghanistan.
It is almost impossible to go one week without meeting an American soldier who has lost an arm or leg because of an Iranian IED. If all the reports of Iranian IEDs are exaggerated and only 10 percent of those US soldiers who have suffered severe injuries were the result of Iranian IEDs, would it justify sanction relief for a murderous country that has killed and wounded American soldiers?
The answer is: Absolutely not! It is insanity to even consider such a thing. Any relief given to a terrorist state is morally wrong, and will only embolden Iran. The greatest gift we can give freedom-loving, innocent Iranian people is to do everything humanly possible to increase sanctions with only one objective: bankrupting the Islamic dictatorship in Iran. This is what happened when the Shah of Iran was overthrown; it was through an economic boycott. I know the story well as I’ve interviewed virtually every living member of the Shah’s Cabinet, including Farah Pahlavi, the former empress of Iran, and the Shah’s last ambassador to the United States, Ardeshir Zahedi.

The Iranian Cult

by; Mike Evans
The Iranian Cult - Mike Evans - Jerusalem Prayer Team
The Iranian government threatening to wipe Israel off the map with a nuclear bomb is not governed by President Hassan Rouhani, the recent visitor to New York City. It is governed by the Ayatollah Khamenei, who is the head of the Twelvers, a cult.
In an exclusive interview with my long-time friend Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, I asked about this cult. He explained:
It’s a cult that guides Iran and it’s a particular brand of Shi’ism. It has a mystical leader, the Mahdi, who disappeared about 1,000 years ago. The followers believe the Mahdi will return in a great apocalyptic war that will claim the lives of millions. It almost mandates this kind of conflagration. The goal is to inspire 300 million Shi’a to join them in a religious war—first against us [Israel], then against you [the United States.] They don’t hate you because of us; they hate us because of you. They say we are the “small Satan,” and you are the “big Satan.”
I posed the same question to Israel’s minister of defense, another dear friend, General Moishe Ya’alon. He responded:
Western, like-minded people should understand the Iranian ideology to impose a new caliphate all over the world. They call it the “Nation of Islam.” They believe they can defeat Israel and the West. The Iranian strategy is to dominate the Gulf. It’s a combination of religious ideology and political strategy. Their strategic goal is to defeat the Western culture, Western values, and to impose the new caliphate and a new nation of Islam on the world.
This cult in Iran, the Twlevers, is the largest branch in Shi’a Islam. This cult name is derived from twelve supposedly divinely ordained leaders known as the twelve imams. All believe that the Mahdi, the twelfth imam, will return. Iran boasts the largest number of followers, but there are large groups in Iraq, Bahrain, Lebanon, Turkey, Syria, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and even in Europe and the United States.
When I arranged the Fox News Network interview in New York with former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, I discussed this subject with his spiritual advisor who accompanied him. He related to me that Ahmadinejad travels to a well in Jamkaran and talks to the Mahdi. He assured me that the Mahdi would come soon, and would be the Islamic messiah. The mullah said that when Ahmadinejad spoke at the UN the power of the Mahdi came upon him and a green light filled the UN hall. He said no one blinked for twenty-eight minutes. He assured me that he was not exaggerating, that it actually happened.

A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing

by: Mike Evans
A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing - Mike Evans - Jerusalem Prayer Team
Was it happenstance or design that placed President Barack Obama in a press conference, and at the forefront of media attention as Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took the podium at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday? Timing, like location, is everything—and the US media is much more interested in the US government shutdown than it is in the security of America’s most staunch ally in the Middle East.
In his speech, Mr. Netanyahu called former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a “wolf in wolf’s clothing”, and made it clear that newly-elected Hassan Rouhani is unlike his predecessor. Instead, he is the more conventional wolf in sheep’s clothing who thinks he can hoodwink the world at large. Said the prime minister, “I wish we could believe Rouhani’s words, but we must focus on Iran’s actions. And it’s the brazen contrast, this extraordinary contradiction, between Rouhani’s words and Iran’s actions that is so startling. Rouhani stood at this very podium last week and praised Iranian democracy…But the regime that he represents executes political dissidents by the hundreds and jails them by the thousands.”
The prime minister went on to state what so many seem to overlook, and that’s Iran’s participation in the Syrian civil war during which so many innocent civilians have died. That in the past 36 months terrorist attacks have been launched by Iranian leaders 25 cities on five continents, and that Iran is actively backing its proxies that are intent on destabilizing Lebanon, Yemen, Bahrain, Gaza and other Middle Eastern countries.
Mr. Netanyahu then enumerated all the reasons why Iran and its controlling clerics should not be believed: One, all Iranian nuclear facilities are hidden deep underground to forestall attacks; two, facilities for uranium enrichment have been cloaked in secrecy; three, intercontinental ballistic missiles have been developed with the specific purpose of delivering nuclear warheads  that would most certainly reach Israel, and could within years reach cities on the eastern seaboard of the United States; and four, Iran’s leaders are prepared to subject its populace to crippling economic sanctions in order to keep International Atomic Energy Agency officials from scrutinizing the country’s atomic operations. The prime minister had one answer: Iran’s facilities are not for peaceful nuclear pursuits.
Rouhani apparently believes the trite, but effective, the hale-fellow-well-met strategy. The success of his falsely friendly approach was touted in his 2011 book when he wrote: “While we [the Iranians] were talking to the Europeans in Tehran, we were installing equipment in Isfahan.” Mr. Netanyahu summed up that theory quite succinctly with “Rouhani thinks he can have his yellowcake and eat it too.”
Sadly, it just might work: Barack Obama is a lame duck president desperate and perhaps willing to do anything to create a legacy for which he will be long remembered. Israel, on the other hand, needs no reminder of what can happen when past lessons are buried under a barrage of bluster. Its people know the price that will be extracted if the fanatical regime in Tehran is allowed to arm itself with atomic weapons. Netanyahu reminded us, “We in Israel, we know all too well the cost of war. But history has taught us that to prevent war tomorrow, we must be firm today.”
The prime minister called on Iran to do four things to prove its sincerity before sanctions are revoked: Halt uranium enrichment; eliminate stores of enriched uranium; disassemble the infrastructure for nuclear potential; and cease all efforts to produce plutonium. These moves, he said, would be solid proof that the actions of the leaders in Iran were “transparent, meaningful, and verifiable.”
Barring lack of compliance, the prime minister reiterated Israel’s stance on the subject: “Israel will never acquiesce to nuclear arms in the hands of a rogue regime that repeatedly promises to wipe us off the map. Against such a threat, Israel will have no choice but to defend itself. I want there to be no confusion on this point. Israel will not allow Iran to get nuclear weapons. If Israel is forced to stand alone, Israel will stand alone.”
Mr. Netanyahu reaffirmed to the listeners in the hall that Israel is not and has no desire to be an enemy to its neighbors in the Middle East. Should Iran gain nuclear superiority, Israel will take on the role of protector of those who now wish only its destruction. He appropriately ended his speech with the promise, “The people of Israel have come home never to be uprooted again.”

The Liberal Left and World Chaos

by: Mike Evans
The Liberal Left and World Chaos - Mike Evans - Jerusalem Prayer Team
President Barack Obama and President Hassan Rouhani have held the first direct talks between US and Iranian leaders since the 1979 Islamic revolution. Exchanging pleasantries during a fifteen minute telephone call on Friday, September 27, have-a-nice-day conversation, Obama communicated his “deep respects for the Iranian people,” and congratulated Rouhani for his recent election. Mr. Obama also expressed his good wishes and hopes that he and the Iranian leader could resolve over the next few months the differences between the US and Iran.
What exact “differences” will Presidents Obama and Rouhani attempt to resolve? The differences over the Revolutionary Guards and al-Quds Force killing tens of thousands of Syrians? The differences over Iranian funded and trained Hezbollah terrorists making life a living hell for the Jewish people in Israel, as well as for the Lebanese people? The differences over Hamas, a proxy of Iran, and its missiles being fired into Israel? Or could it be over the fact that 85 percent of all US troops killed or wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq have died because of the use of Iranian improvised explosive devices?
President Obama’s desire to negotiate no matter the cost gives rise to those in the West who have become unwilling cohorts of the jihadists. These individuals rationalize the presence of evil and the attacks by terrorists based on their perception of our past sins. Self-loathing has replaced righteous indignation and begets appeasement.
Seventy-two hours before the “historic” telephone conversation, I had dinner in Jerusalem with Dr. Iddo Netanyahu, the brother of the prime minister. When I asked him about Rouhani and his charm offensive, he said, “It is no different than Hitler in the 1930s. Hitler proclaimed to Germany and the world he wanted peace, peace, peace. Because of it, he was able to convince Neville Chamberlain to buy in to appeasement, which was the beginning of the end for 61 million human beings—including six million Jews—killed during World War II.
Philosopher George Santana said, “Those who cannot learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.” President Jimmy Carter was the last Liberal Left president to attempt what Mr. Obama is attempting. Rouhani, a Shi’a cleric, has learned his lessons well from Ayatollah Khomeini, who said and did precisely the same things. He convinced Jimmy Carter that he would be another Gandhi-like figure. Farah Pahlavi, wife of the former Shah of Iran, told me during an interview in her home, “My husband said to me, if Jimmy Carter keeps this up, ultimately Khomeini will come back and with him will come an Islamic revolution. The Russians will invade Afghanistan, Iraq will go to war against Iran, and who knows what horror will come upon the world.”
In an interview with President Valery Giscard d’Estaing, the former president of France during the time of America’s first crisis with Iran, I was told that in 1979 he met with Carter in Guadalupe for a summit. Helmut Schmidt of Germany and James Callahan of Great Britain were also present. Mr. Carter told this group of men that the US was going to support Khomeini instead of the Shah of Iran. In essence, Mr. d’Estaing said he realized the US was trading its strongest pro-Western Persian Gulf ally in favor of a terrorist Muslim cleric. “I was horrified,” said d’Estaing. “The only way I can describe Jimmy Carter is that he was a ‘bastard of conscience.’”
I have interviewed virtually every living Iranian leader who has served during that period of time. Over the past four years in New York City, I have also met with and interviewed a large percentage of the present Iranian leaders while attending the UN General Assembly. This includes the former president of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, with whom I arranged the first Fox News Network interview. I am convinced that the results of the Obama/Rouhani negotiations will be more catastrophic for the US than was those in the Jimmy Carter era.
During Rouhani’s trip, I met with many Iranian diplomats in their hotel. I asked one man from the Iranian mission in New York if he enjoyed his job as a diplomat. He responded, “Are you kidding me? I hate my job. There is nothing to like about it when your job is only to propagate lies and deception.”
For thirty-five years, Hassan Rouhani has served unswervingly loyal Islamic cleric and a close aide to the Ayatollah Khamenei. Despite the fact that President Obama congratulated him on his election, Rouhani was only one of six presidential candidates. After 678 had been disqualified by the regime as ideologically unsound, with Rouhani, the final choice, Obama had an opportunity to maintain moral clarity and keep the line of sanctions drawn in the sand. He had the chance to stand by the United States’ greatest ally in the Middle East, Israel; instead, he has played the appeasement card which will only devalue America’s currency in the Middle East and embolden terror.
What did Rouhani do to deserve such a reward? He never gave an inch on the Iranian atomic enrichment plan when Iran, according to Israeli intelligence, is within weeks of reaching the red line in their nuclear program. When I asked the Iranian diplomats, they smiled and winked and told me it was to begin negotiations with President Obama within three to six months. I asked another Iranian diplomat what role Iran was attempting to play in Syria. The response was, “We are communicating to your president that the key to the Syrian crisis is Iran. Its leaders need to be the mediators between the US, Syria and Russia.”
It takes about 250 kilograms of 20 percent enriched uranium to make a nuclear bomb. The International Atomic Energy Agency reported in August that Iran already has 186 kilograms. The Iranians are on the threshold of going nuclear and are now adding about 3,000 new high-speed centrifuges. Rouhani was Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator between 2003 and 2005. He boasted in a 2004 speech to the Supreme Culture Revolution Council, “While we were talking with the Europeans in Tehran, we were installing new equipment in parts of the Iranian conversion facilities in Isfahan…in fact by creating a calm environment we were able to complete the work in Isfahan.”
Between 1989 and 2005, Rouhani and the National Security Council in Iran were responsible for the bombing of the Jewish Culture Center in Buenos Aries in which 85 were killed and 300 wounded and the Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia that killed 19 and wounded 500. In two scriptures in the Bible, Satan is described in this way: “Do not marvel that Satan has transformed himself into an angel of light.”
To think that Iran, a fascist, terrorist state run by mullahs is willing to dismantle vast portions of its multi-billion atomic infrastructure in exchange for sanction relief defines the true meaning of naivety. Even worse, to think that President Hassan Rouhani is about to lead Iran into dismantling its nuclear program now that it has 18,000 centrifuges instead of the 178 it had ten years ago, is laughable. On May 17, 1933, Adolf Hitler gave a speech declaring, “Germany will be perfectly willing to dismantle its entire military establishment and destroy the small amount of arms remaining to her if the neighboring countries will do the same with equal thoroughness.”
On December 18, 1933, Hitler gave an even stronger speech on his desire for peace. He continued giving numerous speeches on peace and disarmament. On May 21, 1935, he declared that the “German government is ready to take an active part in all efforts which may lead to practical limitations of armaments.” On June 18, 1935, he negotiated a naval agreement with Great Britain which asserted that the German navy could only have the strength of 35 percent of that of the British navy. Signs of Hitler’s intentions abounded, and were ignored. After a period of lulling Europe to sleep, In September 1939, Adolf Hitler and German forces invaded Poland signaling the beginning of World War II.
It was Winston Churchill who said in 1935: “The world lacks the democratic courage, intellectual honesty, and moral willingness to act to stop Hitler’s war machine.” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has his back against the wall. A Jew-murdering, terrorist state wants an atomic bomb to wipe Israel off the map. Instead of standing up to Iran, President Obama is bowing down to its new president.
During World War II, US pilots begged their generals to allow them to bomb the railroad tracks leading into concentration camps in order to halt the cattle cars loaded with Jews bound for the ovens. President Roosevelt gave orders not to allow the tracks to be bombed; he was afraid he would offend Jew-hating US allies. Israeli Air Force jets flew over Auschwitz on September 4, 2003. A photograph hangs at every base with these words: “We the Israeli Air Force pilots in the skies over the camp of atrocities have risen from the ashes of millions of victims and we carry their solemn cry. We salute their courage and pledge to serve as the defenders of the Jewish people and their state Israel. Auschwitz, September 4, 2003.”
As Mr. Obama’s plane landed in Israel on March 20, 2013, I was with Brigadier General Tomer Bar receiving a high-level briefing at the strategic Northern Command Air Force Base. I asked, “When you feel that the danger from Iran has reached the point of no return and has become an existential threat to your nation, will you depend upon President Obama and the world to support you?” He replied, “We’ve learned from the Holocaust to have faith in no one but ourselves and God.”

WMD Hypocrisy

by: Mike Evans
WMD Hypocrisy - Mike Evans - Jerusalem Prayer Team
In the early 1990s I went to Iraq with Doctors without Borders, a humanitarian organization. We distributed blankets, food and medical assistance to the Kurdish people who had been terrorized by the WMD assault.
In 2006 President Barzani of Kurdistan issued a state invitation to me to visit his region. I was told then that Iranian agents were infiltrating Iraq and Iranian businesses were “on every corner.” Kurdish Secretary of State Karim Sanjari said, “While we outwardly threaten Iran for their interference in Iraq, we close our eyes to the fact that there are Iranian agents behind virtually every rock. The embassy and consulates of Iran are nothing more than war rooms to fund and plan the battles against U.S. troops in our country.”
While in the country, not only was I given a briefing on events surrounding Iran’s role in the second Persian Gulf War, I was presented with in-depth information regarding the massacre of the Kurds by Saddam’s regime. Hussein’s first cousin, “Chemical Ali” - Ali Hassan al-Majid was largely responsible for carrying out the dictator’s horrific attacks against the Kurdish people. I heard the horror stories directly from those on the receiving end of Saddam’s vicious genocide campaign—the targets of cluster bombs and canisters of deadly chemicals.
I was also told of how the Kurds appealed to the United States following the attack and received no support for United Nations sanctions against Iraq. Rather than stand with the Kurds and demand that Saddam Hussein be punished for his heinous crimes, Secretary of State George Schultz, and his British counterpart, Sir Geoffrey Howe, said there was no “conclusive proof” that Saddam had been the perpetrator. Schultz further softened US rhetoric by adding, "If conclusive evidence is obtained, then punitive measures against Iraq have not been ruled out." The bottom line was that Baghdad suffered no consequences for the assault.
“Chemical Ali” Al-Majid was the poster boy for weapons of mass destruction, which liberals used as the rationale for why Americans should not be in Iraq. Yet, when I asked the families of the Kurds who were eye-witnesses to the attacks and who lost mothers and fathers, sons, daughters and husbands as a result of the WMDs, I was told, “We hear the American media asking, 'Where are Saddam’s weapons of mass destruction?' Tell them to come here; we will show them. These weapons of mass destruction are in our blood and in our souls. We will take you to the mass graves of our families."

How could the United States have opposed the demand for sanctions against the use of WMDs by a brutal dictator? It hinged on the fact that support in the form of arms and money was being poured into the region in an attempt to halt the Ayatollah Khomeini’s march toward Baghdad and the West. Yet, how could the Kurds, long-time US allies have to endure such treatment?
Now that President Obama has observed the deaths of 1,300 by a chemical attack and a death toll of as many as 100,000 Syrians massacred it seems that military help from the United States will be forthcoming. There is something terribly wrong with this picture. It appears to be pure hypocrisy. Is a Syrian who has been gassed more dead than one who has been shot in the head?

If the US is so self-righteous about being willing to launch a military strike that could precipitate enormous destabilization in the region and draw countries such as Russia, China, and Iran more deeply in the conflict,  why in the world would that same country not at least apologize for the cowardly act of turning its back on the Kurds?

Revolution in Egypt

Revolution in Egypt - Mike Evans - Jerusalem Prayer Team
In my 2012 book, The Revolution, I revealed the breadth and depth of Muslim Brotherhood involvement in various Middle East countries. Despite protests to the contrary, my assumption that the Brotherhood would gain a foothold in Egyptian politics proved to be correct as Mohamed Morsi rose to the position of president of the Islamic country.
Morsi took office with a definite political agenda—elevating the status of the Brotherhood by concentrating power in the hands of the ruling party. On Wednesday, July 3, Egyptian army leaders suspended the most recently drawn constitution. Morsi, charged with mishandling the economy and his failure to enact social justice, was placed under house arrest. Military orders were then given for the detention of an additional 300 members of the Muslim Brotherhood. The move was a result of two turbulent years of demonstrations against Muslim Brotherhood control.
The ensuing chaos in the streets of Cairo, Alexandria and other Egyptian towns between pro- and anti-Morsi supporters has led to the deaths of at least 81 citizens with more than 1,500 injured in violent clashes. Warring factions battled with knives, Molotov cocktails, stones, clubs and anything else at hand. Tahrir Square, the site of Arab Spring riots in February 2012, and the bridges leading into the area were littered with debris following one rage-filled night.
In The Revolution I outlined the past history of the Brotherhood, its rise to power and its defeat by Gamal Abdul Nasser in the 1950s. The Brotherhood was blamed for Nasser’s attempted assassination, with its followers forced underground. Thousands of its members were imprisoned and tortured, but it did not stop the movement’s growth. This clash with the authorities prompted an important shift in the ideology of the Brotherhood, evident in the writing of one prominent member, Sayyid Qutb. Qutb's work advocated the use of jihad (struggle) against jahili (ignorant) societies.
The Egyptian government again cracked down on the Brotherhood, executing Sayyid Qutb in 1966, thereby making him a martyr. The Brotherhood was officially banned and again subjected to frequent repression. That was one of the main triggers for the mass anti-government protests by thousands of Egyptians in late January 2011, which saw the headquarters of the National Democratic Party in Cairo set afire. With the Arab Spring riots and ouster of Hosni Mubarak, the Brotherhood again rose to the forefront in Egyptian political circles.
On the edge of a full-blown crisis for months, Morsi’s arrest further deepened the possibility of complete anarchy. There have been signs that the Muslim Brotherhood might retreat into two of its worst habits: conspiracy theories and anti-Semitism. Now that the group has been forced from power, this is a very real risk — not just for the group and its chances of regaining power, but for an Egyptian political system that is dangerously divided.
Western allies are concerned with the upsurge of war in the streets of the Egyptian capital. Qatar poured $7 billion in loans and grants into Morsi’s government, while Turkey and Libya offered smaller investments. Mohamed Badie, a Brotherhood official, pledged to restore his fallen comrade to power.
In the U.S., Obama administration spokespersons have been careful not to use the “C” word—coup. Federal law denotes that financing “any assistance to the government of any country whose duly elected head of government is deposed by a military coup d’etat or decree,” or a coup “in which the military plays a decisive role” is against the law. Egypt would stand to lose $1.5 billion in annual aid if a “responsible return of full authority to a democratically elected civilian government” is not achieved quickly.
In Egypt there are essentially two groups: seekers of democracy and terrorists—no matter their affiliation—waiting patiently for favorable conditions to seize power. During the Arab Spring both joined in an effort to rid the country of Mubarak and his government. Today they may, however, be divided by a stronger and more deadly line of demarcation: believers in democracy and perpetrators of Sharia law achieved through jihad. Unfortunately, many of the jihadists seem to be winning.
Two other small, yet fanatical, groups are waiting in the wings in an attempt to take advantage of the upheaval—the religious Salafis, who strongly support the establishment of an Islamic caliphate under Sharia law—and the newly-formed Ansar al-Shariah, a group that is said to be gathering arms and training  members for jihad. Its leaders have condemned the democratic movement and promised to fight for Sharia law.
If Morsi and his followers know anything, it is how to survive underground and patiently await the right moment to strike. Like the trapdoor spider with its hidden lair and powerful jaws, the Brotherhood can spin a web and then wait patiently for the victim—the Egyptian democracy movement—to again wander into its snare.

Persian Presidential Perfume

by: Mike Evans
Persian Presidential Perfume - Mike Evans - Jerusalem Prayer Team
In Iran, the scent is in the air. Iranians go to the polls on June 14 to supposedly elect their next president. The truth is there never was a choice for the people. The election has always been rigged by the mullahs who chose Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Holocaust-denying, Zionist-hating president. The next Iranian president will be absolutely no different.
Putting lipstick on a pig or spraying Persian perfume on the new president will not change a thing. For years I have met with Iranian diplomats at their hotels in New York City during the UN General Assembly. I arranged the Fox News Network’s only exclusive interview with Ahmadinejad. After having had dozens of meetings with those leaders—including the foreign minister and various mullahs—the one thing of which I am certain is this: the new president will be 100 percent a Mahdi follower. He will be committed to a mad, apocalyptic vision aimed at the “Great Satan—the United States,” and the “Little Satan—Israel.” He will further expand terrorism and militancy worldwide in an attempt to usher in an Islamic messianic kingdom and caliphate.
The second thing common to all the leaders I met, including the president, was a belief in The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion. They believe in a conspiracy that the economy, wars, and even diseases are greatly impacted by Zionists, and they have only one obsession: taking over the world.
I will never forget that one Iranian diplomat told me his countrymen only lived to be 62 years old and Zionists lived to be 82. He asked me if I knew why that was. When I responded “no,” he enlightened me. He said that it was because of rats. He believes that the Zionists send rats into Iran to infect the crops and eat the food, causing the Iranians to die twenty years earlier.
I thought he was joking, and I replied, “That’s a really funny joke, so tell me how they teach the rats to swim across the Persian Gulf.” He looked at me with disdain and responded, “This is not a joke!”
The Iranian election is about imposing a new caliphate worldwide—the nation of Islam. The mullahs see the West as a threat to their ideology and culture, and will be able to defeat the U.S. and it allies from the point of view of culture and impose this new government with terrorism tactics.
Now they are but the turn of a screwdriver away from having the capability to build an atomic bomb. They will then have a nuclear umbrella. The new president, like his predecessor, will support the view of the mullahs that Israel must be “wiped off the map,” that a world without Zionism must exist.
When Hitler came to power before World War II, the German people were trapped in a horrific economic situation. He had come to persuade the Germans that the Jewish people were their number one enemy, accountable for all the nation’s internal problems. Hitler strongly stressed what he saw as “An anti-Semitism based on reason leading to a systematic combatting and elimination of the privileges of the Jews. The ultimate objective must be the irrevocable removal of Jews in general.”
The mullahs in Iran feel the same. No doubt that the pathology of evil that infected Hitler and Eichmann and the Third Reich has also infected the Iranian regime. The new president will have a mandate from Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and his Council to uproot capitalism and Zionism and promote the discourse of pure Islam globally in support of the Mahdi obsession.

Election Day—Iranian style

by: Mike Evans
Election Day—Iranian style - Mike Evans - Jerusalem Prayer Team
On June 14, Iranians will go to the polls to cast their vote for the next president of the country. Whatever the outcome of the election, it appears certain that the mullahs and their fanatic followers are the ones who control what goes on behind the scenes. It is they who determine who rises to the top among the candidates and who is toppled.
After having met many of the Iranian leaders in New York City, talking with them, and having arranged an interview with Ahmadinejad with Fox News Network, the mindset of those men is more readily understood. During one meeting, I was told by his spiritual advisor that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad would be the one to usher in the Mahdi, the Shi’a messiah, who would establish an Islamic caliphate worldwide. Over the four-year time period, I discovered two things all the mullahs have in common: their belief in the Mahdi and in the much-circulated book of lies called The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion.
The core of the myth was to document the purported minutes of a late 19th-century meeting of Jewish leaders discussing their goal of global Jewish hegemony by subverting the morals of Gentiles, and by controlling the press, the world's economy, wars, and diseases.
Written in Paris as fiction and later altered and published in Russia in 1903, it has been translated into multiple languages, and disseminated internationally. The forgery contains numerous elements deliberately written to fool the reader into believing that it is truthful and accurate. These lies were largely responsible for generating the pogroms and for the Holocaust.
Another thing that did not escape my attention during the Fox News interview was that the Iranian diplomats accompanying President Ahmadinejad in the studio were dismissed and replaced with a line of mullahs. They spent the time during the meeting praying that the president would be empowered by the Mahdi. It is these mullahs who likely have already mandated the identity of the next president.
The upcoming election is not about democracy; it is about theology. It is about an apocalyptic obsession to usher in the Mahdi, the Shi’a messiah who will establish an Islamic Caliphate worldwide. The next elected president will certainly be a follower of the Mahdi, and will assume the same apocalyptic mantle as his predecessor. To achieve that end, the June 14 election will be as fraudulent as was the 2009 fiasco.
It occurs to me that there are similarities between the upcoming ballot in Iran and the election in Germany prior to World War II. In his attempt to sway the German people who were trapped in a horrific economic situation, Hitler declared the Jewish people to be Germany’s No. 1 enemy, accountable for all the nation’s internal problems. Ahmadinejad has made no secret of his hatred for Israel and his avowal that the Holocaust was faked.
Hitler strongly stressed what he saw as “the anti-Semitism of reason” that must lead “to the systematic combating and elimination of Jewish privileges. Its ultimate goal must implacably be the total removal of the Jews.” He was so convinced Germany was near collapse, that he joined forces with nationalist leader General Erich Friedrich Wilhelm Ludendorff in an attempted coup.
The ensuing riot began in a Munich beer hall and resulted in: 1) the deaths of sixteen individuals, 2) the Nazi Party being outlawed, and 3) Hitler being tried and sentenced to five years in prison. His sentence was commuted to nine months, but during his incarceration, he dictated a draft of Mein Kampf to Rudolf Hess, a devoted sycophant. The tome — filled with a coarse, ill-conceived jumble of anti-Semitism, fabrication, and fantasy, evolved into the literal bible of the emerging Nazi Party. By 1939, this hodgepodge of pretense had resulted in the sales of over five million volumes and been translated into eleven languages. When the lie of The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion was added to the mix, Hitler had a written manifesto of disaster for Jews.
In 1925, the Germans removed the prohibition against the Nazi Party and granted permission for Hitler to address the public. Moreover, when he needed it, a worldwide economic crisis reached Germany. Ironically, the resulting magnitude of unemployment, panic, and anger afforded Hitler the opportunity to step forward and claim the role of redeemer and savior of the nation.
On January 30, 1933, Hitler was nominated as Reich Chancellor. His determination to build a superior Aryan race that would dominate the world unleashed the Holocaust that claimed the lives of six million Jews. It is interesting to note that Iran translates to “land of the Aryans” and was the name the natives used in referring to their country, one whose leaders are just as eager to see the annihilation of the Jewish race.
My book, The Locket, which will be released in Israel during my visit later this month, details the search for, arrest, trial and execution of Adolf Eichmann, the architect of Hitler’s “final solution.” This demon-controlled man embraced The Protocols. When faced with execution after his trial in Jerusalem, he responded, “[I] will leap into my grave laughing because the feeling that I have five million human beings on my conscience is for me a source of extraordinary satisfaction.”
This mirors the belief system of Iranian leaders and the candidates who will vie for the presidency in a few days. Each has been vetted by Khamenei and his Council. Five have close ties to the Supreme Leader. You can be sure that all meet the rigid criteria of loyalty, both to the Mahdi and to belief in The Protocols. One of the candidates, Saeed Jalili, has expressed his ideology: The goals of Iran and its Islamic allies should be to “uproot capitalism, Zionism and… promote the discourse of pure Islam in the world.” I feel certain his beliefs are mirrored by the other seven candidates, and that fanatics will continue to support the Mahdi obsession.
